Under Texas state law, there are specific speed limits and lane discipline rules for vehicles operating on highways and other major roads around key transport hubs, such as the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) airport. When these regulations are violated, the fault for the resulting accidents is attributable to the violating driver. In addition, stringent laws can apply if the driver is found to be recklessly driving or driving under the influence.
